THANK YOU, FRIEND Chapter 1 (part 2)

Out of the blue, Ericka came out of nowhere and tried to cut the line, just when it's Valentine's turn.Valentine lose her temper and started to spit out her anger towards Ericka. "Hey Ericka! We were queuing in the line for ages. Don't think that you could just cut the line like that, Blondie!"--"Why can't I?" replied Ericka sarcastically and unfortunately, that was the last straw for Valentine. She pulled Ericka's perfect, blonde hair very hard and she was shouting in pain. She tried to fight back by throwing a plate of spaghetti on Valentine's face. Not long after, a food fight begun and the cafeteria was full of various food on the floor, tables and even walls!

Unluckily, the chaos was heard by Mrs. Wright, who was passing by the cafeteria. She quickly barged in and her jaws were wide open, watching students covered by food all over. At the top of her voice, she ordered "Stop it for once!" Everyone stopped whatever they are doing and those who were on tables, slowly climbed down. "Now speak! Who started this whole mess? And I shall punish him or her, badly!" A voice shouted, "Valentine is the one who started all this! She is to be blamed!" It was Ericka and she came forward while having her finger pointed out towards Valentine. Mrs. Wright was so angry that she dragged Valentine and Ericka, both to the principal office.

Half an hour later, they got out from the principal's office. Valentine approached Jenny and Amy with a long face. "Why the long face? What happened? Did you tell them that Ericka started it first?" asked Jenny repeatedly. "I did try to explain to them about the truth. But it's worthless because Mrs. Wright was on Ericka's side. She blamed me for the thing and the principal believed her without any further questions. As a result, I got detention for a week and I have to help the janitor to clean up the cafeteria!" replied Valentine unsatisfactorily. Amy tried to calm her down and told that Jenny and her could lend a hand with a cleaning, later. Soon, the three of them walked home.

AT HOME

"I'm home!" announced Jenny when she arrived at her house. Her mom greeted her with a warm smile and offered a plate of freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies, which is Jenny's favorite. "Hey honey! How's the first day of school after a long break?" asked Mrs. Simpson. "Well, there's nothing exciting happened. But it wasn't a good day for Valentine, mom," she replied while having a small bite of one of the delicious cookies.  Her mom asked her about what happened and she spilled everything to her. "Oh dear! That's terrible. How could the teacher be so unfair?" exclaimed Mrs. Simpson. Jenny remained silent and pretend not to listen. Only Jenny and her friends know how Mrs. Wright is. She grabbed her bag and went upstairs to have a hot shower. Her mom just looked at her and then continue preparing for dinner.

THANK YOU, FRIEND Chapter 1 (Part 1)

The sun shines brightly on Earth as the wind blows freely in the air and dried leaves scattered all over the ground. Memories are now kept in hearts and a new chapter is about to start. Summer holidays have always been the best part of the year to almost all the students.

Jenny Simpson, or mostly known as Jenny, is walking through the hallways, waiting if anyone would say “Hi” to her after a long summer holiday. She is in year 8 now and life as a Year 7 girl is not that easy. There are many hard times and obstacles that she had to go through last year. Like once, her arch enemy Ericka Evans spilled a bowl of hot soup from the cafeteria at her. And trust me, it wasn’t by accident! Ericka is a rich and arrogant but yet a smart, straight-A student. She never liked Jenny which to her is an arch enemy as Jenny is also a brainiac. She often gets jealous whenever Jenny gets to solve a problem while they were in the same class, especially during Math.

As Jenny is looking around, her two best friends Amy (Amelia Henderson) and Valentine (Valentina Roberts) surprised her with a pat on her shoulder. “Hey Jenny! So, how was your holiday in Paris? Must be super awesome right?” said Amy. “What about cute guys? I bet there are lots of them, huh?” continued Valentine. Jenny just cast a smile and replied “Well, it is fun. But looking at the way of their life as a teenager is kind of weird, though” Amy and Valentine just nodded with belief and started walking to class together with Jenny.

The first subject of the day was social studies and Mrs. Wright (Jarrell Wright) can be seen standing straight in front of the chalkboard while grabbing her waist, sternly.  Mrs. Wright isn’t only a social studies teacher but also the coach of the cheerios, the cheerleaders. Her loud voice has silenced the noises in the class and all of the students froze for a moment. “Sit down on my count to three or else it’s detention for two hours after school!” she ordered her students, clutching a cane tightly in her grip. Anger emerged on her pale and skinny face that looks like a 100 years old skeleton. She is extremely strict in her class but on the other side she’s a biased towards her cheerleaders.

After 1 hour of social studies, Jenny, Amy and Valentine headed out to the class and straight to the cafeteria to fill their empty tummies with an appetizing lunch. They queued in the long line patiently and Valentine started to murmur “Oh god! This queue is too long. When are we going to get our food? I’m starving already” Jenny and Amy just grinned, looking at their friend’s funny act. “Patience, darling! I haven’t heard of people died because they had to queue in a long line” Amy joked while trying to calm Valentine down….

THE THIRD ONE (part 7)

Katie: What I mean is that you have to show to her that you move on without her.

Jade: But why? I really need her!

Katie: Just pretend okay! Let’s pretend that I’m your new BFF and start hanging our together. Agree?

Jade: Katie, you are a good friend. But seriously, Kylie is my best friend and there’s no one who can replace her. Goodbye!

Katie: what?! Wait!! 

-JADE LEFT KATIE, SPEECHLESS-

Jade: *knock* Katie, are you in your room?

Kylie: what do you want? Want to tell me that you’re happy with your new best friend now?

Jade: No, Katie! Listen to me first. I can explain. Open this door!

-KATIE OPENS DOOR-

Kylie: What is your explanation?

Jade: Look. I saw you were busy with your new classmates that day and that made me kind of paranoid.

Kylie: Paranoid?

Jade: Yeah. I thought you forgot about me and our plan for my birthday. So I went out with Katie to make you a bit jealous. After all she’s the only friend I got right at that moment.

Kylie: Why don’t you just tell me that? Then, did Katie told you anything?

Jade: Yes she did. She told me to do the same thing as you do. Going out with someone else who is her!

Kylie: Why does she say like that? I thought she’s a nice girl.

Jade: Yes, Kylie. We got her wrong. She may be nice but she’s trying to replace you. But guess what, none can ever replace you in the entire universe, not in a million years. YOU ARE MY BEST FRIEND, KYLIE!

Kylie: Awh Jade. That’s so sweet of you. You are my best friend too. Nothing can ever break us apart.

Kylie: Hello Katie. Hey Jade. Did you get my text yesterday?

Jade: Yes I did.

Kylie: So? You just blow me off like that? How could you!

Jade: Well I thought you’re too busy with your NEW FRIENDS!

Kylie: But I thought we are best friends. That’s it. I’m out of here.

Jade: Kylie! Wait!

KYLIE LEFT. THE NEXT DAY AT SCHOOL…

Jade: Hey Katie. You’re together with Kylie in Science right? Can you please tell her that I want to talk to her?

Katie: Okay then.                  

DURING SCIENCE CLASS…

Katie: Kylie, Jade said that she wants to talk to you after school.

Kylie: Really? Okay. I’ll meet her.

SCIENCE CLASS WAS OVER

Jade: Hey! Who’s that chic?

Katie: Where? Oh! The one with Kylie? I think that’s her new friend. I guess her name is Mary or something.

Jade: What on Earth?! I just blew her off once and now she already “replaced” me?

Katie: I’m not so sure but it looks like it.

Jade: Oh dear! I feel so guilty now. What should I do? This is my entire fault. If only I didn’t ignore her, this might not happen. Now, what should I do? I think I better apologize, right?

Katie: You want to apologize? Don’t you think that she is the one who should say sorry because she ignored you first?

Jade: But I shouldn’t have left her that day. I should’ve go and talk to her about this. This is not what I want.

Katie: But still, she’s the one who must say sorry. Just look at what happen, she completely ignored you and went with another friend. You should show her that you can do such thing too.

Jade: What do you mean do such thing? Like what?

Kylie: SHUT UP!!

Principal: It surely is.

Kylie: Oh my god! Okay then. I’ll have to head to class now. Thanks for informing me, Mr. Henderson.

 Kylie: Hey girls. I have something to say!

Jade: Spill it out.

Kylie: I’m going to…

Jade: Italy?!

Kylie: No! I’m going to change to another class!! Isn’t that great?

Katie: Oh great!

Jade: Umm…. I think so…

Kylie: Jade, what’s wrong?

Jade: Nothing. It’s just that we won’t be in the same class again. It’s just me and Katie. And you know that the girls in the first class are so smart and a bit show-off, right? I’m afraid you’ll get sucked up!

Kylie: Jade. I know you’re sad but I’m not going to let go this golden chance! Think about me!

Jade: I’m sorry. Ok then. I won’t be paranoid. So, when are you transferring?

Kylie: That’s my girl! I’ll transfer tomorrow! And I’ll start to join their extra classes tomorrow after school!

Kylie: Notes to you, Katie. Don’t ever approach to her. She loves messing up with people. Especially NEWCOMERS like you!

Katie: OK. I’ll bear it in mind.

Jade: Actually, she’s one of our friends before. Then, something got into her and changes her into a big bully and such a diva.

Katie: Oh. I see. But you guys are reminding me like she’s kind of a monster or something. Hahaha!

Kylie and Jade: Hahaha!!

(Courtney and her followers approaches)

Courtney: Hey. What are you freaks laughing at?

Kylie and Jade: Nothing. We weren’t laughing.

Courtney: And who’s this? Never seen this chic before.

Jade: Don’t bother her. She’s…

Courtney: A new kid? Aww… Why don’t you guys say so? I love new kids. Hey girl!!

Katie: What?

Courtney: Stay here as long as you like but just don’t try to get in my way or mess with me, understand? (Pushing Katie a bit)

Katie: Understood.

Jade: You guys can’t imagine how much I hate her!

Kylie: Calm down, sister. Let’s head to class or else Mrs. Benson is going to kill us!

Principal Henderson: Kylie, can you come here for a moment?
